Close the Door!

Matthew 5:4 ~"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

John 10:10 ~ "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.~”

1 Peter 5:8-10   ~”Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”~

Hey *Y’all! I pray blessings on everyone reading this blog.  Recently, I was speaking to a someone who had recently lost a spouse, and he mentioned that he was dealing with it as best as he could, but his teenage daughter had begun to manifest in various ways. He said she was cutting herself, having nightmares and also contemplating suicide because she wanted to go be with her mother.  The Holy Spirit had me minister to this man,  and I began to tell him that It's okay to mourn our lost ones, but we must not go overboard lest we fall into the idolatry trap. I also told him how the enemy comes in when we open certain doors. I told him I pray that he helps her to close those open doors, because the enemy wants to steal her joy, kill her spirit and ultimately destroy her soul. What I mean is that when we lose our focus on God and began to focus on our circumstances or lost loved ones, etc. we open spiritual doors that allow the enemy and his demons to come in and harass us.  Sin opens those doors for us; for example, if you listen to many murderers in prison most will agree that they started off by lying, then stealing, then ultimately they ended up killing someone, etc. Each sin opens the door to other sins, and it continues until we call on Jesus to close the doors for us. How do we keep them closed?  We have to believe, read, and live His Word, and pray often to keep satan and his minions at bay. Jesus already provided the tools to combat the kingdom of darkness, but it doesn’t mean anything if we don’t use them. We have  to make sure we keep our gates (doors) closed at all times, because all the enemy needs is a crack to put his filthy foot in and then once in he tries to destroy everything in your life.
For anyone out there going through something please don’t give up on God because there is nothing too hard for Him.  I know sometimes we don’t always understand why certain things happen in our lives, but please trust and believe that God is working everything out on our behalf. Don’t lose hope, we have a living Savior who has already fought and won the battle for us, but we still have to live and fulfill our purpose in this lifetime. Don’t let the enemy steal your joy! Stomp on his head and loudly proclaim “SATAN THE LORD REBUKE THEE! WE CLOSE THE DOOR TO YOUR KAMIKAZE TATICS! WE REFUSE TO MAGNIFY YOU AND YOUR EVIL DEVICES; THE TRUTH IS YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST THE BATTLE! I AM COVERED BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS! YOU CAN’T HURT ME; YOU CAN NOT CURSE WHAT GOD HAS BLESSED! I AND MY FAMILY BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST!

Can anyone out there relate?
Be Blessed *Y’all.
