Hype-Men

John1: 19 "My dear brothers and sisters, be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.”

Instigate-“to urge, provoke, or incite to some action or course”

How many of *y’all know someone that likes to stir things up? I mean they enjoy getting others riled up. They say things like, “Are you going to let him talk to you like that?"I" wouldn’t take that. If I were you, I'd do….” They like to see you upset and crunk for some reason. I call these people Hype-Men because they like to make you anxious. They never spend time pumping you up with positive things, but as soon as they see confusion, here they come running! If you have anyone like this around you, you need to cut back on the time that you spend with them, because they are trying to lead you down the path to destruction. Real friends will be loving, logical, and want you to succeed, (so sitting in a jail cell with umpteen years for beating up someone, because they looked at you crazy is not a good look). You probably would never have acted foolishly if not for your personal Hype-man. Hype-men love chaos, turmoil, and confusion because their leader is the master of all these. Instead of Hype-men saying, “Here I am to save the day!” They rush in screaming, “Hear I am to wreck your day!” Some signs that you have a Hype-man in you life; if they always make you feel anxious inside, if they make you feel weak if you back down from confrontation, or if they always say, “You know I got your back.” But then they stand on the sidelines and watch while you fight Rocky Balboa and Mike Tyson all by yourself. Aren’t you tired of looking like the town fool? If so then, the next time a Hype-Man comes flying your way, pull out the brick wall (the Word) and watch him crash and burn every time.
Can anyone out there relate?
Be Blessed *Y'all.

You call them HYPE-MEN; I call them for who and what they are "The Devil’s IMPS". Yes these small minded, "suck the good air away” vipers are here to kill, steal and destroy, IF WE ALLOW THEM! These imps are well trained. They instigate and then escape away to watch the destruction. They get into people's minds, so even a good nights rest is foiled. That is why we who profess our Christianity must remain focus and be in a "three-D mode". We must see beyond the surface of people, not to judge but to discern. We all have a discerning spirit but many lack the faith and are not Christ connected. I tell you we must "Hear God over all the Madness" :)
You have raised a great point regarding Hype-Men. Once the Hype-Men have caused one to loose the zeal, the joy then their job is done and is successful. These Hype-Men are found in our everyday movement: From work to school, to big corporate settings to small Mom and Pop scenarios. Even in Politics (which has it's own life draining scenarios) to the front lines of wars, the Hype-Men aka “The Devil's Imps” are ready at all times to make opportunity to kill, steal and destroy a person's day. What is the remedy to this? In my opinion it is to keep your joy, no matter what. Realize that getting into the word and know the right word for your situation when the Hype-Men begin to work. Be like a sparrow. The sparrow toils not, but yet it is provided for. By this I interpret it to mean, do not worry, God has your back. If he can take care of the birds, he will take care of us, his highest creation. With a price God paid it all. To the skeptics who may read this response and turn up their nose and site a religious fanatic reply, No, just a secure person in the realm of God's presence. If I must believe in something, it will be God and God allows us to believe in ourselves so that his gifts can be manifested which encourages us to never let any Hype-Men aka the Devil's Imp’s evil and divisive ways whether action or speech, steal our joy! As long as we maintain the joy, then we are hype-men killers!

John 1:19 is certainly the appropriate scripture for this Blog! and it reads:
"My dear brothers and sisters, be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.”
