I’ve Fallen But I Can Get Back Up!

Psalm 23:3 ~He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

I would like to apologize for not posting anything in awhile *y’all, but I have been going through some things that I know will make me stronger for God’s kingdom. I know some of you are probably wondering what happened? Did she fall down? Has she backslid back into sin? I am no different than anyone else; I have issues in my life that test my faith daily. I have issues that probably pale in comparison to many. Well just like some off *y’all, I have accepted Jesus Christ wholeheartedly into my heart, and I have not given up, because he has not given up on me. I believe that we go through trials to make us stronger so that we can help others get through their problems. Sometimes when I look at some of the many crooked paths my life took in the past, I am absolutely amazed that I am still standing here, in my right mind. I am thankful for his everlasting grace and his mercy. I am thankful that he has not given up on me, because as some of y’all know humans are sometimes too quick to give up on each other, especially if they have been hurt (which is no excuse). I am thankful that he gives me the words to speak life into others, to help pick them up when others have constantly stepped on them, and most of all I am thankful that if and when (because I am human) I fall down, he is there to pick me back up and restore me so that I may help to restore others, by showing and attesting to them that yes, we may fall down, but he picks us back up if we believe. So instead of laying there crying “I’ve fallen and can’t get up!” -get your behind up and thank him for helping you get back up!”

Can anyone out there relate?

Be Blessed *Y’all.

I believe it was Donnie McClurkin who sang "We Fall Down" that gives us the hope that although we may fall we can get back up again.
When we are traveling through life's journeys and adventures, there is no gurantee that we won't stumble. The good news is when we do we have an all merciful and powerful God, who is there to help us. As Christians we tend to beat ourselves up harder when we sometimes neglect the will of God. God is there to pick us back up and forgivs us in his own way. Yet we are the ones who keep reminding God of our past. God knows and sees all, who are we to remind him?
Also, we must understand, that the word tells us in Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked;" We must be mindful that we cannot continue with situations that we have control over and expect God to come and rescue us, for one day he will take his hands away from around us.
When we do fall, sometimes we need that valley moment to remind us of how good God is.
So fear not, we may fall, but we can get back up again
