Be a Peace Seeker

~2 Corinthians 13:1~1 “Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

~Galatians 5:22-23 ~“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

~Philippians 4:6-7~ “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

~Colossians 3:14-15~ “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

How many of *y’all know that when you worry, etc. that you give rights to the enemy to steal your joy? When you worry alot you become a weakling in God's Kingdom. When we pray to Jesus to take care of something we should pray about it and leave it with him. He knows our wants and needs before we even ask. One thing I that I’ve learned in this spiritual walk is that when we are happy and joyful, we are more powerful against the enemy’s attacks because he hates it. He wants us to be miserable, upset, and depressed, but more than anything else, he wants us to spread misery to others. Whenever you feel depressing, anxious thoughts or feelings swelling up in your belly, you need to stifle them with the Word of God. I don’t know about *y’all, but I've began to recognize when worry is about to rear its ugly head into my life, I begin to feel anxious, nervous, and emotional. But I am learning to rebuke those feelings and thoughts and think about Jesus, and the peace that he wants each of us to have. Please realize that this is not an overnight process, it will take some time, but if you stay focused on Jesus and his Word you will experience the everlasting peace that he promised us.

Can anyone out there relate?

Be blessed *Y’all.
